Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent's friendship has been, at times, a bit tumultuous,
but in a radio interview this week, the rapper says it's always water
under the bridge.
In fact, he's got so much love for Mayweather that
he's already planning on betting $1.6 million on Money May to beat Manny
Pacquiao in their much anticipated bout on May 2. It's an oddly
specific bet, but one he's clearly thought a lot about. His reasoning
behind the bold wager? He's seen how focused "the champ" is right now,
and can't imagine him slipping when the big day comes. Our advice: If
Mayweather wins, figure out where 50 Cent is partying afterward because
you'll want to be around for those free drinks.
Heroes are often honored in somewhat predictable ways: streets are renamed, plaques are dedicated, and jerseys are retired. The Columbus Zoo went a different route
when honoring the Ohio State football national championship by naming
their newest penguin after Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott. The
Humboldt penguin will go by "Zeke," and arrived in late Februrary. Zeke
should make his public debut later this spring, just in time for
Buckeyes' spring football.
