During an interview with radio personality Big Boy, Christina Milian
not only admitted to dating Lil Wayne publicly for the first time, but
she also let the world know that she loves that man.
While chatting with Big Boy, he asked her about the nature of her relationship with the rapper. This is something Milian has played pretty coy about in the past, but this time around, she was much more comfortable being open.
When asked what a regular date with Weezy is like, she said they don’t do all of that.
“We
don’t really…okay. So with us, with Wayne, he’s not a public kind of
guy. He’s not a public figure. If you look at his Twitter, he tweets
every now and then. He just started an Instagram. You really don’t see
him out much. He’s really like studio, skate park, eat. Studio, skate
park, eat.”
Milian said that when he does those things, she’s by his
side. But when a personality present for the chat asked her, “Why you so
fine? Why you with him?” she revealed that it’s because she’s in love.
“You
better stop! Because…he’s the sweetest. I love him. Oh, shoot! Oh my
God!” The singer knew she spoke a little too soon, but continued. “I do.
I do love him. He’s great.”
From there, Big Boy asked if the ring
on Milian’s finger, spotted during their conversation, was an
engagement ring of sorts. She replied saying, “This is not an engagement
ring. It’s just a sweet little gift. Just a nice gesture.”
Yes, her nose is wide open. However, her nose isn’t the only one with flared nostrils.
Karrine
Steffans did an interview with Vlad TV earlier this week, too, and she
said that she also loves him and always will. She has a tattoo for that
man (“It’s the number 56…it’s just something that’s ours.”), and she has
laid in the bed with her husband in the past and openly got up to leave
and be with the rapper for days. She knew it. He knew it.
“Wayne
has been around since before my first husband. So he’s always been part
of my relationships. When I get into a relationship, he’s the only thing
they ask about because they know: ‘What about Wayne?’ ‘Will you stop
seeing Wayne?’ I hear it. I’ve heard it. The answer is always ‘no.’ You
either get over it or you leave. Those are your options, because I’m not
getting rid of him. Again, I’ve never hidden him. Wayne will call the
house at 3 and 4 o’ clock in the morning and I will answer. If he says,
‘I’m at the skate park,’ or I’m here, I will get up, and I will go.
That’s what’s going to happen and you have to be okay with that. And it
has happened. I’d be gone for days.
When you enter into a
relationship with me, that comes with it. And you have the option to not
enter into the relationship. You always have that choice. You can
always say, ‘This is too much for me, I can’t. This is crazy!’ But
that’s not what people say. People say, ‘That’s not a big deal. I can
deal with that.’ I don’t know why people would even think they could
deal with that. Why would you? I wouldn’t deal with that! I would never
have put up with this! You’re stupid for putting up with this! But what I
find out is that men want to be associated with greater men. So, if you
have the woman Wayne has, then maybe you’re as good as Wayne. You soon
find out that you’re not, because you can’t f**king take it. And when he
calls my phone, he has a ringtone. You know it’s him because it’s his
voice rapping or singing about me and that’s the tone. A it goes off at 4
o’ clock in the morning and I jump up get dressed and I leave? You stop
being able to take it after a while. And so, at first everyone’s always
cool with it, and then they ask me to stop seeing him. It always
happens. I wait for it to happen. And the answer will always be ‘no.’
My
relationship with Wayne has always worked because I don’t want what
other people want. I don’t want anything. Don’t pay for any of my sh*t.
Don’t do anything for me. I don’t want you. I don’t want your children. I don’t want your rings.
Everybody gets a baby. Everybody gets a ring: “You get a ring! You get a
baby! You get a ring! You get a baby!” He’s been engaged three times
since I’ve known him…When a man takes care of or does things and he
knows that you rely on him, it changes the dynamic of the relationship. I
never wanted my dynamic with Wayne to change. I didn’t want him to see
me that way. I didn’t want him to talk to me the way he talks to other
people he takes care of. I didn’t want him to treat me the way he treats
other people. I didn’t want to be a minion. I didn’t want to be on
payroll. I don’t want any of those things. I want you to be with me and
for me to be with you because we want to be here. Not because you paid
me to be here and because I’m depending on you and you’re depending on
me. I just never wanted to muddy that relationship.”
