She grew up around musicians and back up singers.
She first started
rapping and singing in church and in school. Her professional passion
and love for music started at the age of 4.
Chilly B popularly known as Queen of the South decided to go into music professionally in 2012 when She released her first single "Wyne am go down" that made it to the number one spot of most chats , right after completing her Theatre Arts program in The University Of Calabar and got massive recognition and love from fans all over Nigeria. Her Hit single "Dekalemo" has put her in the front map of the Nigerian music scene. Other known hit tracks from Chilly B includes; Wyne am go down, Oye and Love you.
Chilly B is also known for her electrifying, raw and crazy stage performance. Her stage craft commands lots of attention as a professional dancer. She has headlined a lot of shows in the south and is also crowd thrilling regular at Calabar's famous Xmas Carnival. She won most promising female act at NigerDelta HipHop Awards, Best Rap Single at Cross River Metropolitan Awards, Best Female Performing Act South South Entertainers Award, Best Female Vocalist in Accra Music Festival etc. Presently she's working on the visuals for her hit single "Dekalemo".
