After criticizing the MTV Video Music Awards last month for failing to
nominate Anaconda for Video of the Year—and for snubbing her Beyoncé collaboration Feeling Myself altogether—Nicki Minaj will now kick off the VMAs this Sunday with what MTV promises will be a jaw-dropping performance.
MTV made the announcement shortly ago.

Expect fireworks at this Sunday’s VMAs; Nicki, Kanye West, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus (who just criticized Nicki in The New York Times this afternoon) will all be in the building.
