GIST: See Why D'banj's UK Tour Was Cancelled
Multi-award winning singer, D’banj has opened up on why his UK tour, was cancelled.
Recall, his tour, was scheduled to hold in Manchester on November 11,
Birmingham on November 12 and London on November 13, 2016. This was
suppose to be D’banj’s first time performing in the UK after four years.
Speaking with Thent.ng, D’banj revealed the reason why the highly publicized tour was cancelled. According to him:
‘The promoters promised to secure the work permit and apparently didn’t and wanted me to perform without one and I couldn’t.’The singer, who was to perform alongside, ‘Pana’ crooner, Tekno, was a few days ago honored at the British House of Parliament in Westminster, London with a BEFFTA Entertainment Icon Award.
