Ex Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has confirmed that he would be back in the green and white shirt in the forthcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON).


The 32 year old Middlesbrough midfielder revealed this while speaking with AOIFootball. He said that he's had a private chat with Coach Rohr and they agreed on having him back in the team at the Egypt competition come next month.

Here are Mikel's words:
“I met with Coach Rohr and we discussed his plans for the team in the forthcoming tournament. All I can say is that I am delighted and happy because I am coming to the Nations Cup.”
